MAXIMUM ABSORBENCY

QUICKCHANGE Men’s Incontinence Wrap

Size: One Size Fits All

For non-ambulatory incontinent men, QuickChange is the top new male incontinence product on the market. Like incontinence mesh briefs, incontinence shields, and incontinence pads, the QuickChange Men’s Incontinence Wrap is an innovative new form of urine management.

The Wrap is primarily for urinary incontinent men that are bedbound or chairbound and men who do minimal walking. For active men, the only recommended use is nighttime.

In terms of urine management, this medical wrap is a terrific catheter replacement (condom catheter, Texas catheter, and all other catheter types).

At Home Use

Eliminate one of the carers biggest challenges and concerns while reducing injury, stress and time.

Easier Changes

1 Carer - 60 Seconds

No Lifting Required

Applied “from the top down” and only around the penis unlike traditional options.

Minimise Sleep Interruptions

No getting in and out of bed. Carer and loved one both can get much needed full night’s sleep.

Promotes Skin Health

Collect urine before it comes in contact with the skin, significantly reducing the risk of any skin health issues.

Plus, QUICKCHANGE has been clinically proven to prevent pressure injuries (View Study) and it reduces the need for physical contact (many men with developmental disabilities are uncomfortable with tactile touch and care)

For Professional Use

Maintain Skin Integrity

QuickChange’s design allows air flow to at-risk skin areas, reducing heat buildup and creating a healthy microclimate. QuickChange absorbs urine and keeps it off the skin which protects patient skin integrity.

Reduce CAUTI by Avoiding Catheters

The most effective way to reduce catheter-acquired UTI’s is to simply not use one. QuickChange is a viable catheter alternative for urinary containment. When a Foley is clinically necessary, the QuickChange can be used in conjunction to reduce the risk of fecal migration to the Foley.

Minimise Staff/Patient Contact

QuickChange improves the changing process with easier, safer changes. No log rolling is required, and a single carer can complete a change with minimal patient contact regardless of the patient’s anatomy or weight.

QuickChanges Are 100% Clinically Successful In Preventing Pressure Injuries

A review of the Mayo Clinic Phoenix’s Hospital Acquired Pressure Injury (HAPI) data from January to early May 2018 demonstrated 3 mucosal pressure injury (MPRI) related to (r/t) the use of indwelling urinary catheter (IUC) and 9 HAPI r/t urinary incontinence associated dermatitis (IAD).

FAQs

How much urine can the wrap absorb?

The QUICKCHANGE Wrap can absorb up to 500ml of urine and the wrap stays dry to the touch. Keep in mind that the daily average output of urine is 1 litre.

How does the QUICKCHANGE Wrap work?

The QUICKCHANGE Wrap contains a patented superabsorbent polymer (activated by fluid at body temperature) that absorbs the urine quickly after a patient voids. The gel quickly dries after it absorbs the urine which eliminates leaks and lowers the chance of a patient developing dermatitis.

Is there an odour within the brief?

The QUICKCHANGE Wrap’s gel absorbs the odour as well as wicking away moisture when a patient urinates.

Is there an adjustment period before the clients/residents get used to the QUICKCHANGE Wrap?

Feedback we have received from the clients and residents is that the QUICKCHANGE Wrap is comfortable from its initial use.

What sizes are available?

QUICKCHANGE Wrap is One Size Fits All.

Is the QUICKCHANGE Wrap made in the USA?

QUICKCHANGE Wraps are manufactured in our Southern California factory of primarily American components.

What are the various layers of the QUICKCHANGE wrap made of?

The outer layer is a liquid proof barrier to protect clothing, skin, and bedding from urine leakage. The middle layer is composed of an absorbent gel and padding to quickly absorb and contain up to 500mls of urine. The top layer next to the skin is soft and porous so the urine can immediately be drawn away to the absorbent middle layer.

Is using the QUICKCHANGE wrap in a brief recommended?

QUICKCHANGE Wraps are designed to work by themselves to collect urine.

In cases where a patient is both bowel and urinary incontinent, a desire to use QUICKCHANGE in conjunction with an outer brief is understandable. Consult your leadership team to develop a thoughtful and person-centred approach that aligns with established standards for dignity, comfort and quality of care.
